Newhall Coalition, Inc.

The Newhall Coalition is a nonprofit community advocacy group formed in 2000 and incorporated in 2003 to address neighborhood concerns arising from the discovery of contamination in the Newhall neighborhood of Hamden, CT. Joseph Frazier and Elizabeth Hayes of the Newhall CoalitionThe Coalition, made up mostly Newhall area residents, has a board of seven members, led by President Joseph Frasier and Vice President Elizabeth Hayes. Newhall Coalition sees its mission to:

• Educate residents about contamination in the neighborhood and what’s being done to clean it up
• Advocate for immediate and complete neighborhood clean-up
• Develop long range plans for the neighborhood

Newhall Coalition usually meets the second Wednesday evening of every month at the Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church, 449 Newhall Street.
