There
are many volumes of reports and documents for the
Newhall Remediation Project. To make this information
available to the public, a complete set of reports
has been placed at three locations in the Town of
Hamden. Reports can be found at the Miller Memorial
Central Library, 2901 Dixwell Avenue (203-287-2686)
and at the Whitneyville Branch Library, Carleton Street
(203-287-2677) and the Newhall Remediation Project
Community Office (1-800-548-8660). Call ahead to check
hours libraries are opened.
The Community Office is
open by appointment only. To make an appointment, please contact one of the following people:
Raymond Frigon, Jr., Environmental Analyst Bureau of Water Protection and Land Reuse, Remediation Division
Project reports and documents are
also available for review at the office of the Department
of Environmental Protection, 79 Elm Street, Hartford,
CT.
Most of the project documents are
also posted on the website. However, large maps and
some graphics are difficult to format for the website,
so may not be included with the reports. Please consult
the Hamden libraries and the Newhall Project Community
Office for the complete reports.
The documents are organized by project
area and organization responsible for clean-up. Most
reports have a short summary that tells what’s
in the report as well as the text of the document.
