There are many volumes of reports and documents for the Newhall Remediation Project. To make this information available to the public, a complete set of reports has been placed at the Miller Memorial Central Library, 2901 Dixwell Avenue (203-287-2686). Call ahead to check hours libraries are opened.
Project reports and documents are also available for review at the office of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, 79 Elm Street, Hartford, CT.
Most of the project documents are also posted on the website. However, large maps and some graphics are difficult to format for the website, so may not be included with the reports. Please consult the Hamden libraries for the complete reports.
The documents are organized by project area and organization responsible for clean-up. Most reports have a short summary that tells what’s in the report as well as the text of the document. All files are PDF unless otherwise note. Please download Acrobat Reader ( a free program) from Adobe.com.
NOTE: In 2011, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) merged functions with another state agency and was renamed the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). Materials developed prior to reorganization will refer to "DEP" rather than "DEEP".
